Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) is located in Rochester Minnesota which is the state's third largest city. Rochester is home to the Mayo Clinic and IBM Rochester. The College offers more than 70 programs with over 100 program options.Rochester Community and Technical College provides accessible, affordable, quality learning opportunities to serve a diverse and grooving community. College offers Certificates, Diplomas, Associates of Arts, and Associates in Science, Associates in Applied Science and Associate in Fine Arts. Many programs transfer to 4 year colleges, while others prepare students for immediate employment. RCTC serves approximately 7.500 students in credit-based enrollments and 4.400 persons in contact and non-credit/ open enrolment courses. Rochester is the only college in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system that offers a unique Online Accelerated Option. Students can take one class at a time every four weeks over two years to complete an associate degree completely online in an accelerated format. Students step in and step out to meet their needsThe college is part of a learning alliance with Winona State University.
