Regent University is a private coeducational interdenominational Christian university located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States. The school was founded by the American televangelist Pat Roberson in 1978 as CBN University. The main goal was to become a preeminent college with a faith-based doctrine. In 1990, the name changed from CBN to Regent University. The distance learning school offers students who work or have families the chance to earn an accelerated bachelor’s degree online or in the classroom.
Students at Regent University have the opportunity to travel abroad in England, France, Italy and Israel.Regent University from the Virginia Beach campus or from the distance education school can expect to find a variety of jobs awaiting them when they finish their education. Jobs in business, marketing, journalism and psychology are just a few examples of careers available to graduates of Regent University.
Regent University is the nation's academic center for Christian thought and action, with a multitude of on-campus and online programs available worldwide.
