Ottawa University opened its Kansas City campus in 1974 to meet the educational needs of adults. The campus is conveniently located at 4370 West 109th Street in Overland Park, just off I-435 and Roe. Ottawa University-Kansas City is a very small, four-year, primarily nonresidential school, located in a medium city. It is a private religious school (not-for-profit), located in the exciting Plains area of the country. The school has a American Baptist religious affiliation.The maximum program length is more than 4 years. The highest degree is offered by the school is the Master's degree. Ottawa University – Kansas City offers a broad range of courses and programs. In addition Ottawa University offers a variety of bachelor's degree programs, degree completion, and graduate programs through online and classroom-based program offerings. The most common major fields study at the school include business and management, computer science and engineering, and medical administration. So, the Kansas City campus offers eight undergraduate majors, they are: a Master of Human Resources, a Master of Business Administration, a Graduate Human Resources Certificate Program, a Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Licensure Program, a Professional Education Program for teachers, and three online programs.Moreover, Ottawa University offers you the opportunity to earn your Bachelor's or Master's degree completely online from the comfort of your own home. Online programs include an undergraduate program in Health Care Management, a Master of Arts in Human Resources and Master of Business Administration. Online student services allow you the flexibility to access resources with a click of your mouse. Online students have the opportunity to stay at home and receive education from their homes or any other places. There are currently 613 students enrolled in the Ottawa University-Kansas City. The school is associated with the American Baptist church. This association may place additional restrictions on who can apply or on student behavior while attending the school.Ottawa University – Kansas City is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (NCACHE).
