Crown College

Crown College is situated on a beautiful 215-acre campus about 30 minutes west of Minneapolis near Waconia, Minnesota and is nestled among the rolling hills of one the of the most lake-dotted regions of Minnesota, just west of popular Lake Minnetonka. The College has existed to prepare people for life and ministry for 92 years.
Beginning in 1916 with four students who wanted to study the Bible, it quickly developed into a training school for those interested in ministry and missionary preparation. But it became known as St. Paul Bible Institute a few years later. It has gained a solid reputation as a leader in the Bible college movement throughout the Midwest.
But the College changed its name to St. Paul Bible College in the late '50s. It was accredited by The Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). In the early '70s the College sought regional accreditation which was granted by The North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) in 1975. Moreover, the College also is a member with the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU).
In the following years the College expanded the curriculum with the introduction of many new majors and areas of study, as well as developing the campus with the addition of several housing facilities. In 1992, the name was again changed to Crown College.
Our College believes that the truth of God’s Word is an absolutely essential ingredient in education. Students not only learn about life—but they learn how to live.
Over 30 four-year programs in anything from pastoral leadership to nursing to communications are offered. Classes are available through the traditional on-campus program or through online or evening/weekend programs. Degree-completion programs and graduate degrees are also available.
The main goal of Crown College is to provide a biblically based education for Christian leadership in The Christian and Missionary Alliance, the church-at-large, and the world. The Crown College experience is more than just a degree—it is equipping students to do what they do best, whether that’s being a nurse, a video technician, a kindergarten teacher, a music instructor, a coach, a businessman or woman. It means taking the skills, talents and passion that students have and showing them how to impact the world with those very skills and careers. Crown College receives outstanding support from the community and corporations in the area, and partnerships with the College are being formulated in locations across the country and throughout the world.
With our classes you will be equipped with professional skills while integrating those tools with your life’s purpose. We aim to help you learn what roles you have been created for, see how that fits your goal and vision for your future.
