Being a Member unit of the State University of New York, Clinton Community College is situated at Bluff Point, approximately 4 miles south of Plattsburgh, on forested heights overlooking Lake Champlain. The college features the modern equipment and facilities needed for contemporary educational needs, its distinctive architecture and spectacular natural setting hint at significant times of the past.
The Financial Aid Staff at Clinton Community College is ready to assist students and parents alike in applying for Federal, State and Foundation scholarship money in order to help meet educational costs. Approximately 80% of full time students at CCC receive some form of financial assistance. Nevertheless, the first responsibility for financing a student’s education rests with the students.
A variety of support services and opportunities to both challenge and support students are offered at the College for reaching their greatest potential.
Our faculty and staff are dedicated to assist you to reach your academic, career, and lifelong learning objectives. They come from varied backgrounds, rich with experiences to share with you.Clinton Community College offers a degree in Associate of Arts (A.A.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) for students seeking to transfer to a four-year college. Students seeking to enter the workforce directly may complete an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree. Moreover, CCC offers certificate programs for those requiring specific training. The Workforce Development, Continuing Education and Community Service department offers customized training for business and industry as well as varied lifelong learning experiences.
Our students can choose programs in Business, Technology, Science, Math, Nursing and Allied Health, and Liberal Arts, including Humanities and Social Science.
Clinton Community College offers student leadership opportunities in the residence halls and on campus, as well as a number of clubs and organizations. A student can choose to join Student Senate, Student Activities Board, College Chorale, Criminal Justice Club, Drama Club, Art Club, Science and Technology Club, Nursing Club, Native American Club, Honor Society (Phi Theta Kappa), and the International Student Club. Students may participate in any one of the college’s athletic programs as athletes or as spectators.
